Mine has just bloomed for the first time....and I love it!!! I have also attached two photos to ID H. javanica ... and will also post the close ups for H. multiflora. David Liddle took these photos and gave me permission to use them....except the first one which I took....Thumb of 2010-08-15/AlohaHoya/c118e9

It just amazes me that one type of plant can have so many different types of blooms. Colors yes, but forms and shapes...amazing!

What I was referring to is Hoya themself. Not just the plants in this conversation. Just beautiful! I think your passion for them, must be the same as my passion for roses.

Thanks Carol!
I discovered I have H. javanica as opposed to the labeled H. multiflora...actually the variegated version is not H. multiflora.
Constantly learning about these great varieties.
Great photos by the way.

Yes, very full filling! Who would have though when I bought this house 19 years ago I would want to garden and try growing every thing. I never would have imagined it!!!

Joni,
What is the variegated version of H. multiflora if it is not a multiflora?

Aloha Hoya

I have been collecting, studying and selling hoyas for about 10 years. This Cubit is about growing hoyas, and about the hoyas I have to sell. I welcome any and all hoya lovers, whether you want to buy or not. Hooked on Hoyas is another great Hoya sight
