legalize marijuana. Come on folks, especially medical MJ so people like me can get some pain relief! I have even tried narcotics, they don't work. MJ is supposed to work for the disease I have.... but I can't try MJ because to go to a pain management doc - who treats my disease, I have to agree to random drug tests. I know people who have moved from the US to Canada who have the same disease I have just to have medical MJ. Take away the right or what ever it is that says that churches don't have to pay taxes on property, income etc! Revamp the entire social security disability system. I am living this nightmare now. There is something wrong with a system that pretty much requires a seriously ill person to use up every penny, lose their home, health insurance, etc. and pay a lawyer tons of money, and wait years to get help. Yet, other people manage to get it for what seems like no good reason. In Ohio, nearly 80% are denied the first time you apply. It can take 8 or 9 months to get that first decision, and you can't make any money during that time. Then, you appeal.... and then, about 80% of the people GET it on appeal..... but that appeal can take 2-4 years. I am not saying it should be easy. Not at all. But isn't there something wrong if 80% are denied, then appeal and then 80% are approved? Huh? My rehabilitation therapy doc said that she has people that have been in a car accident, been paralyzed from the neck down, with a head injury, cannot talk, cannot feed themselves, and they are denied and told they can work. How can this be? Allow people who take in an elderly parent, or a disabled sibling, to add them to their their health insurance, as if they were a child. I mean as a second insurance for the elderly person to medicare. When nothing goes right, turn left.

Think of all the wasted money processing those claims two times! Ugh. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss

Burn down all the Fast Food Restaurants and plant gardens instead run by the FF staff. Ration Sugar/HCS. Make everyone be genetically tested BEFORE they get permission to spawn. ... Leap. The net will appear.

Uh-huh, back off the fast food... but you can't get out the door OR back in line til you burn off all the extra calories on a treadmill or elliptical. Where do you think my brilliance comes from?! Carrots? :tongue_smilie: No, it comes from Dairy Queen Blizzards. I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders.

Cappacino Heath Bar blizzards have given me some of my most insightful moments.... I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders.

| Wow, Jay, that's my favorite Blizzard! Maybe. I had a young man make me a Mississippi Mud. He was generous with the chocolate and pecans - and it just might be my new favorite. I agree that the laws regarding MM and hemp in any form are antiquated and counter-productive. Surely, in this decade, we can make some changes. And don't get me started on disability law! It seems that those who really need/deserve it go through hell to get it and lots of people who aren't truly disabled are feeding at the trough. | You are a Great Disappointment to me, Alma. Please tell me you still eat fries... I feel so abandoned. I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders. |

So does that make you reformed or moderate? Hmmm.... think I'll go have a Frito & ponder such imponderables. I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders.

"A" Frito? Yeah, right! Here in the land of deep-fried Twinkies and deep-fried Snickers, they also have something called a "walking-taco" - a bag of Fritos with cheese, salsa and who knows what else slathered over it. Had me running for the Zantac in 15.... In the end, only kindness matters. Art and Artists & The Reading Room http://cubits.org/thereadingroom/

Oh, don't get me started! But in my dictatorship all drugs would be legal. 'Cmon, outlawing PLANTS? Welfare recipients would be required to do community service. And one of those services would be to provide child care service so others could get work....and not have their benefit be penalized for their earnings till they could actually support themselves and their families. No more free rides for purveyors of religious garbage. Let their well-heeled congregations pay their taxes instead of lining their pockets! Oh yeah, and corporations are NOT people! No political contributions from non-people! Gimme a few minutes, I'll think of more....if I can stand to think about it! Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

Oh, I like the "no political contributions from non-people"!! But, if you are dictator, why do you need political contributions?? "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss

Hey, you don't expect me to do it all, do you? What do you think I am....god? Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

Had me running for the Zantac in 15.... Frito Pie!!! Oh yeah, favorite dish... fritos covered with taco seasoned ground beef (the really cheap greasy kind), maybe beans, onions, lettuce, tomato, & a sprinkling of cheese. You have such a delicate digestion, dear. Where did you say your people were from? | Now, now, you want nice and greasy, ya gotta mix in some chorizo with that beef! YUM! Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid. |

Pat pat, hmmph! Woofie, that sounds too much like that real Mexi-can food - and we protect our borders around here. Which one? Ummm..... In the end, only kindness matters. Art and Artists & The Reading Room http://cubits.org/thereadingroom/

Back to the onerous duty of being dictator... no more housing developments, malls, or industrial complexes on good farmland/ranchland (which covers a lot!). They'll need all that room for the free range cattle & hogs, 'cause I'm doin' away with high density feedlots. We level them & put the solar farms there... the ground is already severely impacted, & I'm thinking it might be possible to do reclamation around all the support posts for the collectors. But even if we can't, turning feedlots into gravel parking lots for collectors is a huge improvement over grading & graveling perfectly happy desert. I made some great goat chorizo this year.... MMMmm-MMmmmm! I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders.
