Well, until I redo my fencing, it's not an issue anyway, really. But I've been awfully tempted.

Carol, BTW - sheep dung is about the only animal smell I cannot stand. It is *nasty*.

Of course, now you can rent-a-goat for weed-eating in some cities... the shepherd supplies the goats & electric fence. You could see if someone in your area is up for that. Big Grin

OK... If I were dictator for day, I'd outlaw record-breaking heat temperatures here at the end of September. Hey, I'm sure it would work as well as SB1070! And most of the other nonsensical laws passed by 'our' lawmakers. I say 'ours' because, of course, they're really just shills for mega corporations.

I'd outlaw bugs! Stink bugs, wasps, hornets, yellowjackets, ants, flies, mosquitos, aphids, whiteflies...all of 'em! I don't care what niche in the ecology they fill! Smiling

Well, I'd at least support you on the mosquito issue. Hate, hate, hate 'em. Angry

I would make all the school kids go out and dig up their playgrounds and make gardens and EAT what they grow!!!

Carol, I did that once. (I didn't have to make them; everyone was excited to do it.) It was a beautiful garden - until the school decided to erect a building right on top of it. Sad

I just want a coffee maker that really does stop dripping when you pull the pot out.

Is that so much to ask???

And I'd like one that doesn't drip all over the counter when you pour the coffee!

OMG, Carol, it's like being in Florida! We didn't use to have the blasted little buzzing blood-suckers, but now there are droves of several different types. Take a look. Seven people have died of WNV. http://www.azdhs.gov/phs/oids/pdf/wnv2010.pdf I can't sit outside unless I slather myself with some EO repellant.

And who said there is no climate change???? Confused I think there is always a serpent in paradise...and here it is the mozzie. There are 4 different ones...and they come out at different times of the day. After 3p.m. I stay indoors...the afternoon bugger is immune to repellent and a real bother. Actually, I don't get welts, but I get momentary itches that drive me bonkers...then they go away. Husband Bob is NEVER bothered by them....

Have you found an organic repellent that works? I have tried all the local ones (Bob threatened to divorce me if I continued to wear one....) but OFF is the only one that REALLY works.. I will probably die with three heads and no fingers...but in the meantime....no bites!!! Hurray!
