| Oy - I'm not even going to *try* to summarize the last chat thread, we pretty much covered it all! But come and chat with us some more.... In the end, only kindness matters. Art and Artists & The Reading Room http://cubits.org/thereadingroom/ |

| I'm going to inaugurate this thread w/a nap... see y'all in a bit. I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders. |

| I still think we need to address the proper plural form of "ignoramus." Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid. |
ig·no·ra·mus /ˌɪgnəˈreɪməs, -ˈræməs/ Show Spelled[ig-nuh-rey-muhs, -ram-uhs] –noun, plural -mus·es. an extremely ignorant person. Dang, I hate correcting myself! In the end, only kindness matters. Art and Artists & The Reading Room http://cubits.org/thereadingroom/ |

| I vote for ignora-masses... 'cause there are so darn many of them. "The masses are asses." Oh, that they should be so smart. I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders. |

| Oh yes, and handsome. I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders. |

| There's a tiny bit of hullabaloo on that smoking forum! http://cubits.org/smokers/thread/view/37655/ Apparently, someone did not read the part of the cubit title that said 'Unrepentant"!! "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss |
| Isn't that incredible, Jeannie? An anti-smoking smoker joins just to give the rest of us a lecture? If he persists, I will ban him. |
| I think he is gone - he did say 'goodbye'. He sounded like my dad: "Do as I say, not as I do" "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss |
| No, he's back. Should we assault him with a barrage of posts saying we feel religion is far more harmful and stupid than smoking, but we're much too polite to go into a religious cubit and lecture the members? |
| I was hoping to find a quote on-line from Stephen King's Gunslinger series. The lead character smokes, and at one point in one of the books explains how the society in which he was brought up believes smoking is actually healthy, and that only the young, with un-formed lungs, should not smoke. There are a LOT more things more harmful than smoking! Like spewing stupid lectures - might lead to getting your head bashed in or something "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss |
| I wonder how many friends and lovers he's lost just because they didn't enjoy constant debate. |
| Oh Zuzu, that picture is a riot! I burst out laughing when I enlarged it- how perfect! Congrats on the featured Cubit! A young friend of ours, who is wise beyond his years and never ceases to impress me, came up with the funniest and most appropriate little saying the other day. He said, "having religion is like having a dick, it's ok to have one, and its ok to be proud of it, but don't pull it out in public, and don't shove it down my son's throat". |
| Oh, perfect in every way, Neal! I love that! |
