Okay, I had to break down and start a new one... just in case anyone was on a slower connection than mine! In the end, only kindness matters. Art and Artists & The Reading Room http://cubits.org/thereadingroom/

OK, back to the clip of Obama's birth... Disney has the looong form. I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders.

ROFL - it was too good. In the end, only kindness matters. Art and Artists & The Reading Room http://cubits.org/thereadingroom/

What's so amazing is that he was cracking wise with all else that turned out to be going on! Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

And you know, Rump just didn't look amused... I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders.

Can't you just imagine the internal smirk that was going on when he talked about the decisions that were keeping him awake at night? Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

No, I think he was probably pissed that Obama was mocking his decision. A lack of leadership, so blame someone else. Then again, he might not have gotten it. I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders.

Oh, I don't doubt that he got every. single. word. In the end, only kindness matters. Art and Artists & The Reading Room http://cubits.org/thereadingroom/

Well, I actually meant that Obama was probably smirking internally, given the events of the following day. Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

Oh, geez, I just got this from my cousin. Love it!![]() Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid. |

Making steady progress on the new wind shelter...![]() And the home visit/inspection for the new pup is Thursday. If we're approved, maybe we can bring her home this weekend. | Lookin' *good*! Oh, the wind tunnel, too!!! I can't believe you would have a problem unless they want a fenced yard or something.... In the end, only kindness matters. Art and Artists & The Reading Room http://cubits.org/thereadingroom/ |

We have a fenced yard.... The application asked if we would be willing to install a pet door. No, not ever. They've got their own sunroom, they've got dog houses & jackets, they don't need to be running in & out of the house all day. I told River today she gave good porch... I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders.

We have LOTS of pet doors......the front door, the back door, the baby gate across the stairwell, the baby gate between the kitchen and the living room, the door between the kitchen and the back porch.....and two, count 'em, two door keepers! Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

We have one in the basement - biggest waste of energy in the house, but our big girl needs access to some kind of shelter when it gets really rough or really hot out there. In the end, only kindness matters. Art and Artists & The Reading Room http://cubits.org/thereadingroom/

So...when the defining moment of a shelter dogs' life becomes.... loving giving home WiTH pet door vs loving giving home W/O pet door....who is counting? Pet doors are cool...dogs are welcome to ask to come in at my house and it may or may not be granted. They live with it. Who is in charge? That said...we are constantly opening doors! Thelma has access OUT...but not IN. Leap. The net will appear.
|

Besides the constant in & out... there's the unwanted guests in the country: skunks, raccoons, mice & cats. And the energy drain, as Sheryl mentioned. I find it pretty amazing how controlling some of these rescue organizations are. But as I said, if they don't want us, there's street puppies for FREE that we can help out. I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders.

I can't imagine them requiring a pet door! Ha ha, that's one thing the malamute rescue most certainly doesn't ask for! Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

The Draft rescue didn't even require a barn, lol... In the end, only kindness matters. Art and Artists & The Reading Room http://cubits.org/thereadingroom/
