I'd think it would be kinda nice to not have to impress your spousal unit w/your housekeeping skills... you can just do it for yourself, to the extent you give a flip.  It is slowly but surely grinding its way into my head that my SO's processing disorder literally means she does not see the crumbs at her place, the slobber on the side of her glass... the eyeballs work fine, but somewhere in the brain jelly data just disappears. She also can't rate the speed of approaching cars, distance, relative size, level... which of course just drives me right round the bend, as I see the patterns, etc. everywhere! Whoever said opposites attract weren't kidding.  I have little confidence in any enterprise or business or investment that promises dividends only after the death of the stockholders. |
