I've always done all my greens in containers to keep them away from the bunnies. I'm thinking of doing some chard in the ground behind my retaining wall next year so that it has more root space and less water stress, but it won't be worth it if it'll just get mowed down by little teeth. Anyone know if it's a good plan?

It's all about choices.
I don't know anything rabbits won't eat. Can you put a cage around them? The chard, not the rabbits!!!
Leap. The net will appear.

I don't think a cage would be practical for so many plants, but I'm having good luck keeping them off my brassicas with hot pepper spray, so I'll probably give that a try. I'll post an update with how it turns out.
