Charleen, Can you erect temporary shade over her? At least until she gets big enough for the top branches to shade the lower ones. Mulch may help keep her roots cooler and reduce stress. Anything to get her to keep her buds.

I know I can mulch her. got to keep my chickens from scratching tho. I'll do that. Have to figure out a shade. i had to move an Orange one to shade, that poor thing Wilted, but is doing much better. Most of them are in the sun.
Mine are being raised on a west side 3rd floor apartment balcony hope they will think its normal if they are started in it My Isabella seems to be liking it so far and my sticks are still alive!

got to get you pic; raked out a dam and blocked it with rocks hoping to discourage my little sweetheart and her friends. Put in Some water and piled the cyprss mulch in the center. I'm sure it will help. got afew more to do also. I was thinking I should but needed Betty to Boot me in the right direction. Should I go ahead and cut off the two blooms, Betty?? I appreciate your help.
The wilted flowers will drop off on their own, but if you don't like the scraggly look, remove them. You can also just grab the corolla and give the spent flower a quick tug. The flowers come off easily. The calx will yellow and drop off not long after that. It's not as noticeable.

Here is a picture of what I did this afternoon. I made a higher dam and blocked it,so chickens won't scratch it out so bad and added mulch.
They had perked up by the time I got the last ones finished and I was so happy. I got all inside the pen done. I was so glad. I guess I'd wilt too. I thought I was going to before I got thru mulching and re-shaping horseshoe dams.
I am soooo frustrated with this person i did trade back in May. I sent her a plant of Dream Angel with end days and so far all i get from her is different lies and excuses. One of the excuse/lie she told me that she bought Honeymoon (Country Garden) and it came with spider mites supply that she has to traits it. She also said she bought Fleming Rachel and if i want it when she can cut it. Another excuse she said that she won e-bay auction of tootsie and if i wanted that too. For weeks she on and on all these stories that had nothing to do with our supposedly trades.
At first when she told the P.O don't carry mailing tubes, I know then she is full of CRAP!!!. I never heard of P.O. don't carry mailing boxes. Why would P.O. don't have boxes, that's where they make money from costumer paying shipping fees. The box are free to the costumer. She claims the mailing tubes she order takes 10 days. While all these going on she is feeding me all the crap.
I told her that if she change her mind sending her part of the trade that " I am totally okay with it, no hard feeling. All along she is telling me all those great crosses from Volker Sanders seeds she is growing and that as soon as the mailing tubes arrive, she will send it. That was few weeks ago and i haven't heard from her since.
I just thought she has legitemate reason this time until I saw her posting at Dave's on July, 2nd at the Brugmansia forum. She was making a statement about some one using someone else picture to sell a plant. I know many members here are also members at Dave's so you all know what i' m talking about.
At first I thought I would just forget this experience and forget about it, until I saw her comment at Dave's. It is clear to me that this person is out to rip off others. She needs to be stop of conning other members.

Hi everyone. I have my first bloom of the year! I lost most of my brugs last year and am trying to slowly build them back. I ordered an "Angels Summer Dream" from Logees, and it bloomed 3 1/2 weeks after I got it! It's barely 12- 14 inches tall. Just one bloom, but it's a pretty small yellow with light fragrance. This is supposed to be one of the ones that you can use in a hanging pot. Love it! The next flush should have more blooms.
My Isabella seems to be liking it so far and my sticks are still alive!
