After a long day of fencing I now have the girls back up on the hill. But I am still having a problem with the fence charger. The box has 2 lights. The first light shows me there is power to the box. The second one shows me there is power to the fence. The lights blink and if they are not blinking there is a problem. It's showing me I have power to the box but the second light is not blinking. I have gone over the fence with a fine toothed comb. I have cleaned up all the connections and eliminated all the uneeded strands. It still is not blinking. I am thinking the fence is fine and the bulb is blown. Problem is, I cannot find my tester and I am not about to touch the fence to see if it is on. With my irregular heart beat I would be layed out on the ground for sure. So far the girls have not wanted to go through the fence. There is plenty for them to eat. I only have half the hillside fenced at the moment. When browse gets scarce in there I will extend the fence to the other end of the hill. That will give me time to get my charger box problems figured out. Hopefully I can find my tester. The surest way to find it is to go buy a new one. That's when the old one will turn up! :)    |
