Last night I canned some pints of peaches. I had left over syrup and some cherries so I did a couple 1/2 pints of those too.

Those look fabulous, do you grow the peaches and cherries?

What do you put into the peaches to keep them from turning brown over time?

Hi kathy_ann,

I got both from the store. Hopefully next year my peach tree will be big enough to produce something.

I use a product called Fruit Fresh to keep them from turning brown. I also use some lemon juice in the syrup.
