The tornadoes blew the roofing and shingles off this house and blew the windows out but today when we drove by, they are getting new roofing./ Thank God.

Well Doris, I went back and look. good Lord what a wierd hat!! Why did they do that??? Didn't care for the outfits either, especially the blue, it was pretty bad!!!
I sure hope Inky doesn't get any funky weird ideas about hats now Charleen that is so good to hear that people are all ready rebuilding and rallying after this tragedy

Girls, we went to Tenn. to look at the water, today. Boy! Did we see water!! In Haiti, where the casino is, National Guard has the roads closed to the river. The river stands at 44.45 right now. They're expecting at least 4 more ft. by the weekend. At 50 ft. it will go over the banks. When we got back to Kennett, we had to go several streets over to get to my house, all the intersections are flooded, BAD! Wayne said he'd never seen anything like this in his life. I'm beginning to get worried! If the levees break on the Mississippi, we'll all be in trouble!

WOW Audrey! You be careful and don't take any chances! Go stay with a friend or relative if you can for a week or so till you see what is gonna happen. We're expecting more rain tomorrow and Tuesday.
Be Careful, Audrey & all you who are close to flooded areas... I'm praying the water recedes, and no more rain for you... and here we sit, dry as a bone, just lots of wind!

The river should crest by Wed. They expect it to rise at least a foot a day till then. I hate to see them blow the levee at Cairo, Ill. That will ruin a lot of farm land! But....it might save some lives and homes.
Ooh Audrey, hard decisions they have to make I guess... farmland is valuable, but lives moreso. Keep safe!
