No Tina we didn't get snow, but it sure felt like we could have. Lots of rain though and that was good. It's just been the worst weather I've seen since I came here in 1979! My poor yard really took a beating with the freezes we've had. I'm waiting patiently before I cut everything back as it could still get cold again. It's killing me though looking at this ugly mess.
Hope things are going well for you - How are you enjoying Texas?
I would enjoy Texas a lot more if the snow would go away. I hate snow..... it seems like it followed me from North Dakota. I'm ready to put things in the ground and containers out in the yard, but we are getting more snow tonight. Hopefully it won't be to much longer before I can feed my gardening addiction. I'm repotting in the house as well as getting some containers ready for the warmer weather. Wish me luck with some better weather.
How is your yard coming along? Hopefully no more freezes for you this year.
So sorry things aren't better seeing that you've moved further South. It's just crappy everywhere! We've had a couple of warm days (it felt funny not wearing a jacket to work today!) but at the end of the week it's supposed to go back down in the high 30's. My yard is a mess and there's no sense in doing anything until it get's consistently warmer.
It won't be long, as these months are flying by. Surely March has to be better. Hang in there my Dear, as when you finally get to put things out I think that Texas climate is going to do wonders for your lovely plants.
Me too Doris (although I live in Fla!) haha. Actually it's usually pretty nice here year round, it was just a really bad winter for cold weather. I think it was the coldest winter on record. I better be quiet as it really has been beautiful 80 degree weather the last 3 days!
