Well you sure can't trust the weatherman...I was so anxious to get out into the garden this weekend. Luckilly I picked yesterday as this is what it's been like here all day in Sunny Fla!

I as lucky enough to have some good weather yesterday though and got a lot accomplished! I'm so eager to plant some new pots but I really have to get everything cleaned up as it's been a terrible winter here and we've had several freezes.

There is hope though as a few days of warmth has really helped things along.

There's just so much to trim and dig up - and the darned weeds sure didn't get too affected by the cold!

However, this large bottle palm that was doing so well is really struggling. There is hope though, I can see some green fronds starting to form

It's obvious that the petunias really kind of liked the cooler weather

Old reliable Oxalis - This pot is about 3 years old and it always looks kind of bad for a few months then suddenly wakes up

I really didn't have a lot of hope for these pots...But these African Irises seem to be doing just fine! I need to add some colorful impatiens or something to give it a little lift.

They are such pretty blooms and the plant sure multiplies as this was a teeny-weeny when I first planted it a couple years ago.
