Hetty, I definitely see a big resemblance with you and your Grandmother. Those are such beautiful photo's! I get goosebumps when I look at that 2nd one (I don't know why?)
Like you, I have a BOX of photo's and I don't know where mine is?????
This one is My Grandmother and her 5 children having a picnic! Probably about 1934. Funny thing is...my Dad always told me about his favorite dog called "Boy"...and I think that's him in the photo! (Please don't tell me I look like my Paternal Grandmother! hehe)

There was a circus for many years here sponsored by the St. Louis Police Department. The stooges were appearing at the circus. Anyone who had a relative on the force had their pictures taken with the stooges. 30 years later I was called to a manager's office at my workplace to discuss a project. When I arrived in his office there he was with the stooges, yes a picture with the same setting and pose. What a small world, we were both at that circus and could share our stories. At the time we were all so disappointed that Curly wasn't in the picture, but years later found it to be a keepsake. Grandpa made sure we all got a souvenier from the circus. At the time my treasure was a cupie doll on a stick. Guess my fondness for cupie stems for my loving memory of pops. Well the cupie is long gone but I'll always have my picture with the stooges.
