| We had a workshop this weekend on making this gardening container ... out of the backing used for mounting tile. It is made out of cement, I believe, and other stuff. Anyway...the sheet comes in sizes to cut easily, galvanized corners (2 each corner) are screwed on to hold it together. If making a maximum size of 4x4, the weight of the soil gets heavy, so they mount eyebolts to the center of the panel with a wire connecting the two that hold the box in shape. This 'board' has been growing vegetables for 3 years with no sign of wear...and the one they have planted with beets is wonderful. Total cost for this box is way under 100$ AND you aren't dealing with toxins from treated lumber nor worrying about rotting wood. I was very impressed!!! This is a smaller (2x2 box)they built for the demonstration.
Leap. The net will appear. |
