Thanks Jon ...
The last thread I would click and then go clean the oven or something
so we had another deep freeze last night and another pipe break this afternoon .. I can't believe even wit them wraped & water running all night it could freeze up
Cheryl, sorry for your pipe! We had one of the pipes frozen twice last year, so annoying and awful! I had to thaw snow for washing dishes and shower...it didn't happen this year though we had the pipe well covered!
We were lucky it didn't last for too long, only for a few days. This year wasn't that bad, not such deep freeze.
How is weather now Cheryl? We still have snow.
Adina
Our winter has been over for a couple of weeks now its running from the 40s at night to the 80s in the afternoon
When I see the weather where they really have winter our winter total freezing days maybe 2 weeks
sometimes as early as Nov to sometimes as late as March im just a big baby
Family in New Orleans and in Houston have already turned their airconditioners on for the first times this year...they both decided that they needed to tell me that on a day when it was snowing and ccccold here in Korea!
We got snow forecast for tomorrow too, brrrrrr when is the spring coming? Seems every weekend for one reason or another has stopped me from working on my home extension, frustrating to say the least!
Jon - I was thinking you were having warm weather like I am here in Florida. Sorry to hear that it's been one thing after another with the construction. Maybe you will have better opportunities starting this weekend!
June - Snowing in Korea now? Brrrr ... is right!
Cheryl - I guess you not far enough south to get more consistent weather. It's been quite warm here. Been running my A/C since January. December was our coldest month.
Hi Jan! The only thing I have right now is plum blossom but at least it's a sign of spring! Magnolia is ready to burst at the first at the first warm day soon to be followed by peach an cherry blossom.
Name: Jan - INKY'S PAL Charleys Girl NEWBEE CHAT & HELP LINE I'm a Charley's girl and loving it!
Hi Jon, Spring should be coming soon for you. Been very nice here for a while now. We always get a freeze in Mid April so watch out but for now, it is gorgeous.
I just yesterday planted the MG seeds you sent me and a couple Becky sent to see how they will do. I can bring them in though if it gets bad again. I can't wait to see blooms!
Hi Jan the I Nil like it very warm so they will be very slow now and need protection! They will take off when temps are around 80f. Good luck with this new growing season and we would all love to see photos!
