Has anyone heard of this before. My vet said they have never treated a case of conjuntival swelling before, ran a bunch of tests to rule out bites, scratches, stings, etc then gave her steroid drops for 2 days and it worked but we never knew what it was or what caused it. They have seen the eyeball pop out but never the white part.

I don't recall seeing this before. I am glad to hear she is OK, though. How long have you had her? Allergic reactions can cause all sorts of things to happen, and this is the time of year for lots of things to start putting out pollen, as well as fungus type stuff (mold, mildew, mushrooms, etc).

I too am glad she is ok. That is strange but thankfully the problem was solved without her having any lasting problems. My indoor Exotic Shorthair cat has allergy eyes and has a terrible time this season of the year but his eyes never pop like that. I hope it doesn't happen to your baby again.

It is not uncommon and can be caused by many different things. It is usually completely treatable.
Here are some photos to compare. https://www.google.com/search?q=conjunctivitis of dog eyes p...

And an article:

Thanks Lynn Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing couldn't find anything on it and had to laugh when the article started with how common it is. Interesting enough my vet was on vacation and the vet that helped us had to call the senior vet for advise.

How is your little one doing Susan?
Sorry it took me so long to respond back. We are on an extended car trip and won't be back home until some time next month.
At my daughter's house in New Mexico right now, so had a computer to use and catch up on things. Sticking tongue out

In Denver, CO now and visited the Denver Botanical Gardens today. Saw just a small part of it. It was amazing.

Spoiled as ever. She has been a little night runner, all night and sleeping till noon. Seriously the eye was cured in about three days. Loved the link you sent. Thought it was odd that I couldn't find much information about it and my vet never had a case with it but the article said it is common.

Thanks for the update, glad to hear she is doing well. Except maybe for the night jaunts - I need my sleep.

I'm so glad to know she is okay.

How long has she been doing night jaunts? Is it her bladder?

I think I should just keep waking her up during the day because she doesn't whine or have to go out a lot or want down from the bed for a drink during the day, only at night...SPOILED!!!
