EARTHQUAKES

ImageI have an unexplained fascination with the Earth's geology and tectonic plates in particular. The movement of the earth and volcanoes and renewal really fascinate me. I have no education at all in this subject other than I lived in San Francisco, CA most of my life and can distinguish the difference between a roller, jumper, shock, wave, crack, shaker event. I can look at the terrain and see the results of seismic activity. Talk about energy and power. Any thoughts or experiences you want to share are welcome! I've included a link to USGS.gov should you like to view reports of events. (Right hand panel)
