A BIG hug and thank you to Arlene for putting together another successful and fun gathering. There were some great plant varieties in the swap, good food galore, a fun train ride, and gracious hosts. Being in the company of fellow gardeners is always a joy!

And from me too, hugs and thank you's to Arlene, to Nancy and to Larry and Wilma for the warm welcome they gave me. It was so great to meet all of you and to share in the fun and activities. I feel like I came away with new old friends and many lovely memories. Not to mention a bunch of great photos!

And it isn't over yet, I have one more day with Arlene.

Thanks to all of you for such a good time.

It was an enjoyable GIG! I feel I get to know folks better each year...what a fun, nice, group of people Group hug

Special thanks to our host and hostess Group hug Steve and Nancy for opening their lovely home to us and making us feel welcome.

Special bonus was being able to meet cubits own Sharon. As lovely in person as in the words she writes!

So very true, and the cozy setting made for easy conversation. It was a lovely day, aside from the weather which only made it more interesting. Hilarious!

More from me later ~ on the way home I came down with a headcold, making my gray matter feel more like oatmeal.
Where are we going, and why am I in this hand-basket?

Maridell, you're welcome. Thumbs up

Moby, get well! Glare

Max, hope you are both feeling better. It will be in Boone again next year, so maybe you'll get there.

Sharon left for home early yesterday morning.

...wearing that wonderful poncho that Arlene gave me for the cool weather. Oh wow! That photo must have been taken at about 4:30 a.m. Can't believe I was awake and moving. I think I see a tear or two creeping down my face.
