I saw a similar lady on an Australian site and wanted to make this on a smaller scale, the one I saw was an actual fountain that had water pouring out.

This is a 11 x 14 glass on glass mosaic. It still needs grouting, which will be done in a very light color to make the lady pop, as you can see, it is very difficult to see the lady as it is. Thumb of 2012-01-14/Gourd/ff7f92

Gee, I don't know if I'd have the patience to cut all that glass. Probably why I haven't ventured into mosaic other than small items. Good going. Post another pics when it's grouted.

You are so right, this design was way too small for this size frame. I did grout it, then had to use a chocolate grout for her, but, I still don't like the contrast, she got lost in this glass, so I will use some black grout just on her and see if that will make a difference. Probably this weekend.
