Here is a picture of my inflata. Just got it last month from TG and it is now rooted. One of the leaves got a little scrunched in the package but didn't seem to hinder it rooting. Now I am hoping for the impossible of blooms in the spring.
inflata the leaves are actually bigger than I thought they would be and pretty stiff as well
Bringing this up. Mine is currently blooming, and will post pictures tonight when I get home. I received this last fall and rooted in about a month and started growing after a couple months on my kitchen window sill. When I moved it outside in Apr it grew a peduncle and buds right away. I have to say that it has taken about 2 months for the buds to develop and open. They look like little puffs of marshmallows and are quite light and airy if that makes sense.
Gorgeous blooms, Dee!! Enjoy them! How do you think H. inflata would do being grown s/h? I have a cutting coming from Ted, and am nervous about all of them. Any suggestions from the forum on rooting H. inflata, megalantha, sp. Linus, ilagiarum? The others I believe will be easier to root. Fondly, Patrick
Patrick - I would definitely grow megalantha semi hydro. I've had no end of bother with mine - until I repotted it SH at New Year. Growing gangbusters now :)
Haven't any experience with the others - but good luck with them all
