Perpetually happy!
I've had them both bloom this summer. Decided to put them side by side to try to compare. Might have worked better if I'd had better pics...but...H. wayetti is darker, H. kentianna more red.
H. wayetti on the left, H. kentianna on the right. They're side by side on the front porch.

Great to see the difference in those two Lee Anne! How about pic's of foliage on both? I have wayettii and it has dark brownish leaf margins. I think it was you who told me the kentiana has no brown leaf edge?

Are either of these in the database? I don't know for sure what the correct spelling is on these two, maybe that's why I can't find them, LOL. This is a picture I took today of a bloom on my H. wayettii. Seems to me the flowers are looking different this year.

Carol: this is the very first time I've ever seen flowers recurved on any of my wayetti's .... guess I need to start paying more attention, huh? Big Grin
