I received a message from Chris Burton...there will be an order from Iris in the spring. The nursery has not been sold, and Iris is still shipping overseas. Iris is busy now compiling the 2012 catalog, and will release it once it's finished. I know that last year Iris promised a "spring" order, but due to her job, she didn't ship until June. I have no idea who will be hosting this year's Liddle orders, but suspect that Chris will be one of the folks. Fondly, Patrick

There are some folks I would NOT go into a group order with: one of them is David Michael Elliot/friends, and the other is CMB. Personalities aside, I have heard of too many bad experiences.
Steven, please re-read my message...the 2012 catalog is being written now, and will be forwarded to Chris Burton in a couple of months, maybe sooner. I'm positive that the catalog will be posted on all hoya forums once it's finished. Fondly, Patrick

Had a good natter with Iris last night. She is revising last years' catalogue and will send it out...and she added that if anyone would like something not in the catalogue to ask for it anyway. She only lists plants that have lots of cutting material. The sooner the order comes in the sooner it will be shipped.
Last year we made a small order which she was able to pass thru APHIS along with some bigger orders so that fees could be shared. My feeling is that HUGE orders can be held up as it really takes about 3 days to processes the orders thru the nursery with all of the steps they take to insure the health and cleanliness of the cuttings... so, as she works AND tends to the nursery, it is a bit of a stretch to process large orders without a national holiday added to the weekend.
Carol...you're right, I didn't mean to imply that only CMB would receive the catalog, only that she's the one who e-mailed many hoyalistas about the Liddle catalog...I'm sure that anyone who has hosted an order from Iris will receive the catalog, i.e. Carol, Chris, David Elliott, etc. Also, I'm equally positive that CMB will not post any catalog on any of the hoya forums...she'll send an e-mail to those on her mailing list, who in turn will post on the forums. Sorry that my post sounded like I meant ONLY Chris would receive the catalog...I do know better than that! Fondly, Patrick
