I have two hoyas labeled Obovata, but they look different to me. Do you think the speckled one is a Obovata?![]() ![]() |

| The last one looks like H. obovata, to me. The first one's leaves looks too pointed to be H. obovata...imho "When you have only two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other." - Chinese Proverb |

| I agree with Laura...but leaves can be deceiving... There is a cross between H. obovata and H. carnosa which could have gotten to you with a wrong label... Leap. The net will appear. |

| Thanks again Laura and Carol! I kind of figured they were different. The first one is growing more up than down. |

| hmmmm.... Yes, leaves are deceiving, indeed. For example: I have H. heuschkeliana and H. brevialata and if it weren't for the lables, I'd never know them apart, certainly not by just the leaves! Not to mention the yellow heuschkeliana! Sooo happy I rec'd a p-touch for X-mas! | Laura is that what you are using to make the labels? What brand is it? |

| I think the lables you've been admiring are from the Liddles. They are stiff printed plastic, and they came on each cut in my order... The labeler is "Brother" and it was on for $10 @ X-Mas. Refils are $30 tho! "When you have only two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other." - Chinese Proverb |
