I'm too frustrated and DSO is here for us to go get some more stuff from the house. Right now my rumbling pickup is frustrating him. Blinking Blinking

I've got a few of those "companion plants" too! Hilarious! I tried real hard to get as much weeding done as possible last week before leaving. Frustrating...all that effort to weed the gardens and after all the rain last week I swear the weeds have tripled. Grumbling

Oh those "companion plants" must be so hard to come by Hilarious!
It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...

Your rock wall bed is looking good Holly! I see that the sedum is continuing it's expansion. Do you pull some of it each year?

Hilarious! Hilarious! Here My beds at home are so buried under leaves that finding the plants has been difficult. I keep trying to uncover them so that they don't die, but the moving & hauling of stuff takes precedence.

Here's a Mukdenia starting to bloom

Thumb of 2011-04-21/stormyla/e491ab

Some Hellebores. I still haven't found any of the pink or red ones as that area is really deep in leaves.

Some sweet little violets.

Some Bergenia starting to bloom.

The Forsythias that are just now finishing their bloom.

Hilarious! Here's the Artemisia that I was afraid wouldn't survive in this spot when I put two twigs of it here last summer. Hilarious!

I will say that I am thrilled with the Helles. I rip some of that yellow creeping sedum out by the fist fulls. It is pretty this time of year and when it blooms. Then I pull a lot out and let it build back up for next year. Going off to bed not feeling too well, right now.

HollyAnn feel better. I can't WAIT to see your rock wall progress through the seasons Smiling My rockery is finally snow free. Hopefully I will get it cleaned up this weekend although it's the Wakening of the Dahlias Festival and I'm still seeding so maybe not.

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Maybe that's where I went wrong with those Dahlias. I kept having to tie them more every other day & they would still fall down.
