I've got a few of those "companion plants" too! I tried real hard to get as much weeding done as possible last week before leaving. Frustrating...all that effort to weed the gardens and after all the rain last week I swear the weeds have tripled.

Oh those "companion plants" must be so hard to come by
It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. Here My beds at home are so buried under leaves that finding the plants has been difficult. I keep trying to uncover them so that they don't die, but the moving & hauling of stuff takes precedence.
Here's a Mukdenia starting to bloom
Some Hellebores. I still haven't found any of the pink or red ones as that area is really deep in leaves.
Some sweet little violets.
Some Bergenia starting to bloom.
The Forsythias that are just now finishing their bloom.
Here's the Artemisia that I was afraid wouldn't survive in this spot when I put two twigs of it here last summer.
I will say that I am thrilled with the Helles. I rip some of that yellow creeping sedum out by the fist fulls. It is pretty this time of year and when it blooms. Then I pull a lot out and let it build back up for next year. Going off to bed not feeling too well, right now.
