Teri, That is Soooooo like you! What a wonderful idea  When I was very active in a local women's group, we ran the snack concession for the local outdoor summer series of concerts. We would get together every week for a brownie and caramel popcorn ball making feat. It was a great yakking time. We all brought our own mixers along too. There's nothing like a shared task to help folks get to know one another! I too miss those days. For me, it comes down to being too busy to make those time committments now. That's one reason why retirees are always so busy. They're catching up on all of the things they never had time to do  |
