Neils Recipes!

My grandma started in service in a Mansion House in north Yorkshire as a scullery maid in 1911, she stayed there till 1921 and had become Head cook. She was an exceptional cook and believed in using local produce and seasonal ingredients. Thankfully her legacy has stayed within the family along with her Recipes, and generations have used her Recipes and still do.
Coming from north Yorkshire her cooking was basically British with the local well known things relevant to that Beautiful County. My granddad was Scottish and my mother is a Geordie, so of course I was brought up with many different things. I attempt to put as many home cooked Recipes as possible on the forum. This is what we cook and eat with the Recipes from the family, and what I was taught. It is not computer generated or adjusted photographs, it is simply something I have cooked and we are about to eat!
