Dear Brenda, there is my grandmas scone recipe on here! Got to have a cream tea or high tea as it is called, that is essential. Like the idea of the Rum Cake, that saves the whisky for Tony to a wee Birthday dram with. Rolling on the floor laughing

"A wee birthday dram", LOL! He'll be enjoying some margaritas today. I have made your scones in the past Neil, and they turned out perfectly. Now I just want to get some homemade strawberry jam at the farmer's market on Wednesday. (No, I'm not making my own jams at the moment. But the strawberries are awesome right now... maybe I should!). That is something that I've never done. Hmmmm....

Dear Brenda, buy the jam as it does take a bit of time and that will give you more time to serve Tony the drinks up! Rolling on the floor laughing
Remember scones, jam and cream is served at 3 pm, hence why it is called high tea, cream tea, or afternoon tea. No tea bags allowed of course whilst making tea, it must be in a tea pot and done properly. Sorry Brenda I am having a giggle as I know what it is like having to serve an officer Rolling on the floor laughing
From all of us in England, may we wish him many Happy Returns of the day.
Group hug

Thank you so much, Neil... but my dear husband does not drink tea! GASP, I know, what? British Tony does not drink tea. But I assure you, he will eat scones! Thanks for letting me off the hook on making jam... someday maybe. He got all of his british delights today, and I think he was (and is) very happy about them! Now I know where to get them, so he will not have to go without for so long. Next order will include some Cadbury chocolate!

Speaking of chocolate, here is our chocolate Lab... Cadbury!

Dear Doris, who could not fall head over heels in love with something named after a chocolate bar!
Well I could as I do not like sweet things, but my wife would!
