The pain killers themselves could have caused the blurriness and weak legs, but they might be hiding something else, too. Please see to it, we can't do without you!

I am going to the Doctors tomorrow for your information as my eyes have gone red and are sore plus they keep leaking! Sarah claims I have an eye infection and I claim it is where I try to keep them shut and my hands over my ears when she is nagging me! Rolling on the floor laughing I have always had a balance problem due to my arm but this is worse so I will speak to him about it, I think.
The pain killers I have used for years for my arm and they are no trouble and do not cause any side effects but sleep which is a good thing. I will see what he says but it will be the same as usual for that is all they know how to do. Simply ask silly questions and then give you a prescription to get some tablets you have never heard of only to find out later they are the same as what you are taking already but with a different name. I have no faith in any of them at all for they are all useless!

Lucy, that is the other cat. Neil, I too am very glad that you are going to the Doctor. I don't like them very much either, but in this case it seems imperative. Please take good care of yourself!

Well that is the Doctor seen and dealt with at last although she is new and pretty which makes a change from the one that has left. She gave me some stuff for my eyes and then some painkillers I already have so I told her that, why don't they keep records these people? She gave me a long lecture on head injuries and what to do etc. I gave her a short lecture on why I do not like Doctors!
She wanted me to have two blood tests so I told her there was no chance of that at all as I am allergic to needles, so she started trying to tell me that nobody is allergic to needles. So I informed her that the last bloke who tried to stick a needle in me found out I was! As for my balance she is not to sure about that so is going to have a word with the Hospital about that as they deal with a lot of head injuries and then let me know! So apart getting some stuff for my eyes that was a waste of time!
Regards.
Neil.

Neil you will soon find out, if the doctors are worried about you, affter her chat with the hospial, you may be asked to go back for further treatment, but saying that, I still cannot see why she did not send you to hospital, if she was not sure about you.
At last 59 years on, a doctor got me help that I needed, and the further treatment will be taken up in four weeks time, so there is good doctors about, but far and few between.
Pam has just come out of hospital again. had an op this time round.
Take care.
Hugs Mum and Tilly.

Sounds like your drs. there are not very informed! You needed an xray, or a ct scan to see if you cracked your skull!

amen. I worry about the type of dr. you have. I don't like needles either, but put up with the very painful cordosone shot for my tendinitis in the right shoulder. The x rays had not shown anything but the intence pain was there.

None of that makes sense to me. WHAT? They don't have records for each patient? I guess I didn't understand that very well Neil. And a head injury here would get you a trip to ER for a CAT scan if not an MRI as well............................She didn't know about what could be affecting your balance? after a head trauma? Ummmm get thee to the US. Pronto.

I agree, sounds to me like they just get by with any answer they can think you will listen to, but with a head injury DON'T TAKE ANY CHANCES find another Doctor that will listen to you and take the appropriate measures.

Hi Girls yes all records are on computer, well they are up here, so there is no reason to check, but from what I can see is that the medical profession have so many poeple on their books, I know that should not be an excuse though.
Take care

Muriel that is the trouble for anyone can come here from abroad and get free medical help at anytime. Some people come to use our world famous Hospitals like St. Batholomew's the children Hospital, Guys which is amazing and Moorfields the eye Hospital plus the school of tropical medicine. But this is where the problems start for to get in these places unless it is an emergency you need to see your GP so when they register it all goes on a computer. When they have been treated over here they go back to their own countries and don't tell the GP so it is left on the computer nd this happens all the time so no wonder the computers are snowed under with useless information! It is still no excuse as they should add and take things of the computers as they use them but they are so busy they sometimes don't.

Still seems like it isn't organized well. Course our country isn't either and I better not get started or I may never run down. I am so dissatisfied with our country right now it is'nt even funny. Now for me, the one who usually just goes with the flow to be dissatisfied, you know there is something rotten in denmark. Hilarious! Hilarious!

Can't sleep tonight. Insominia has become my best friend tonight and I am not exactly happy about it. What can I say? Will be plenty cranky tomorrow if I don'get any sleep to speak of. I won't even be good company for myself; g Angry Angry Angry Angry rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Dear Cherie, the top Hospitals are fantastic and have the best staff and equipment you can get. It is the local Hospitals that are like a medieval dungeon with poor management, no morale for the staff or incentive just rubbish. Just watching all about your candidates for the Presidential election you are going to have so I hope you have got your vote Obama flag ready? Rolling on the floor laughing
Get a drink that will help you sleep half a bottle of southern comfort same as usual! Rolling on the floor laughing
