Sad news yesterday for my daughter Amber. Took a final for skills and failed it. Now it will lengthen her time left in school by another semester. He instructor called her last night all in tears for she knows Amber knows this stuff and told her you were over thinking the questions again..................
She was so upset last. A couple of times I heard her crying in the night. She was so close. I told her it is only an extra semester, for she'll have to take this one again in fall. I told her she will be better prepared because she already had done it once already. First, it will take her a day or two to get over the disappointment, then she'll be berating herself for stupid mistakes, but she'll live through it. She's too smart not too. I feel so bad for her.

She's got it all figured out already. She's going to get her certificate in May for the two semesters she's finished and sit for the boards of LPN this summer. She'll work as an LPN WHILE she's finishing up the last two semesters then she can graduate in May of 2013 and then sit for the nursing boards in summer of 2013. Will look nice in her portfolio CNA(Certified Nursing Assistant) CMA(Certified Medication Assistant), LPN then RN. It will show she really truly knows what she wants to do for her life long career. I'll do what I can on the family end here to help her with Ariana as much as possible. We stick together. Ya know?
Huh! Well at least being a professional gardener does not involve stabbing people with injections, drawing blood, emptying bed pans, seeing body bits stitched back or hacked off and other things.
Although Nurses do look nice in their uniforms. as I will see on Friday.

Dear all, I went to the Hospital for my teeth today! The Hospital has the largest tower for Dental surgery in the world and the view is spectacular, if you like looking over London whilst they get their torture instruments out! I was lucky as I was only on the 21 st floor today so that is not bad. It is not like a normal Dentists as they do surgery and emergency operations for car crashes etc.
There are two sorts of Nurses, the Dental Nurses, and the Nurses who look after the people who have had operations, and assist in operations like normal Nurses, for they have many wards for patients there. If you have toothache don't go there as they would tell you to go to your own Dentist, as it is all specialist stuff.
Today was most funny as to get a place as a student Nurse there you have to be good and get marked for everything you do! Where I was they have 150 Dentists chairs and they fit new teeth for you after your operation(s) etc. Suddenly the place went deathly quiet and everyone started desperately to clean up when a voice shouted out "leave everything and step forward."
I looked around and there was this woman in a maroon uniform with a cotton ruff collar. like something out of medieval times. She wore an amazing cloak with gold embroidery on it and a Matron's cap. It was Matron on an unannounced inspection and the Nurses were quivering in their shoes. She was tough on them and finding the slightest fault wrong and marking them down.
She talked to all the patients very nicely asking how we were and are we being looked after properly! I felt sorry for the student Nurses as this Matron was fierce to say the least.
I asked about her uniform and it is a tradition as a mark of rank from the early 1600s and has never been changed. Then I made the Doctor who gave me my new teeth all fitted laugh by saying " fancy waking up next to that!"
New teeth now and no pain as of yet! Cherie the steak is on you.
