| Dear Jamie and Nancy, we have lots of terriers over here! From the small Yorkshire terrier to Jack Russel's, then Norwich and Norfolk terriers then onto ones like Bedlingtons, Airedales, Kerry blues (from Ireland), and Staffordshire bull terriers plus many more. The thing is they are working dogs as they are hunters for that is their instinct! Many people but them as little puppies and think they will be great pets as they look cute when they are young, a terrier is not a pet it is a working dog and should be treated as such and they must know who the boss is or they will rule you. Luckily I have been with them all my life and I do not take any nonsense from them at all, for if you wish for a dog that will fight and give its life for you get a terrier and don't keep it as a pet!
