Spring is in the air!

I planted garlic last Oct. - Inchelium Red and Red Toch, both are softneck varieties.

I will plant carrots, chives, cilantro, peas, radishes, spinach, and turnips tomorrow. May also start pepper and tomato seeds inside on heat mats and under lights after they germinate.

Onion starts will be here soon - Ailsa Craig, Big Daddy, Red Zeppelin and Walla Walla.

The horseradish is showing growth and so is the comfrey.

I had to replant the tomatoes and peppers because of germination problems so I am a few weeks behind but it will all work out. I may end up with a few more plants than I planned on because the replant had excellent germination.

We had a couple of days with low temps close to 30 last week but this week lows are in the 40's, highs near 70. I won't plant my tomatoes and peppers out until mid May.
