I had to go back and take a second look too. I guess the minds eye saw water and then didn't catch on that it was being fooled. When you know it is glass, you actually see it as glass with an etched pattern No wonder they say that eye witness reports are unreliable ... Yes officer, I saw this quartz rock sitting on top of a pool of water ... Yes sir, I am positive, it was sitting on the top and was not sinking into it... I was looking out the window toward the mill trying to catch a picture of a bird. The bird flew away too fast and I missed the chance...again... When I looked at the picture later I was amazed to see that someone was out there taking a picture of me... do you think that is what frightened the bird away?
