I'm not sure I can start this thread, but I'll try.

I attended a quilt show yesterday at a quilt shop located out in the country
near Hickory, NC, and here are a few of the quilts. They had 150 total on
display.

Oh, this is lovely! I especially love the 4th one.

I don't know if you meant to put your thread in the Quilting Round Robin thread though - it would only been seen by those watching the Quilting Round Robin, and I imagine that's only those in this group?!?!

Susan: I couldn't find any other appropriate place for it.

If Barb feels up to it and knows how to move it, I don't object. Barb, are you
okay? We haven't heard from you in a while.

How did I miss this thread??? LOL No picture goes wasted! I love looking at quilts. We have our annual quilt show next week and I have scheduled a 1/2 day off work. The last few years when I have gone it's been on Saturday (it starts Friday) and LOTS of kits etc were already sold out. THIS year I'm taking part of Friday off so I want to give in to temptation and buy, I can. There is also a silent auction. Some years I bought several items, last year I did not even make it to the event.

Haven't checked out quilt show schedules locally yet, but there's one coming up in May in a neighboring county, so I'm planning to attend that one. Our county show isn't until fall, but I try to get in as many as possible.

My knee and ankle have been killing me so I know it's going to be a "quick trip" thru the quilt displays with my camera, not a lot of lingering. I do hope to see all the pretty quilts, even if I don't buy anything from the vendors.

Pat: I always take lots of photos for inspiration, but finally realized I won't live long enough to make the quilts I already have planned, so probably won't do much photography. Then again, I may change my mind! Thumbs up
