| Hello Jujube, When you refinish your floors what do you use for poly? I bought a new prefinished oak floor and it's already scratching. I had unfinished maple flooring that came out of a wood warehouse and was going to be burned for firewood. I placed the unfinished floor down, stained it and used minwax poly for floors(5 coats due to 3 kids and a dog) and it seemed to take 5-6 days to totally dry. I did wait a day before putting on each coat. Any suggestions for something better? I've attached a picture of my almost finished room(just need to do the trim around the window) with the maple flooring.
