| I would love it if you would share your favorite Christmas songs here. This is another of my favorites that my children grew up listening to. Made me cry too  Favorite? Oh my - the list would go forever - I would use up Dave's server space  But the first one that came to mind was Silent Night. When I was a little girl, maybe 5 or so, I remember asking mom to sing Silent Night to me. She told me I knew the words and I told her it sounded better when she sang it.  So she did and I was just as emotionally touched at 5 as I am now at 61. My mother's name was Mary and I think my little childs mind thought she had some connection to Jesus' mother because her name was Mary too.  My last day of work before we moved down here 13 years ago, one of the teachers, who has the voice of an angel, came to say goodbye and I asked her for a favor before I left. She said sure. I asked her to sing Silent Night. She said - Vicki, it's JUNE  I told her it was a favorite and I wanted to hear HER sing it before I left. So she did and I sat there and bawled. Silent night! I love it too, Vicki. It's full of wonder and memories. I like singing it as a church on Christmas Eve without any instruments as we leave the candlelight service.  Linda, Little DRUMMER BOY IS SO PRECIOUS. Bing sings it so well! And away in a manger...love that!
