This is a condition all of us Babes can fall into. We get in a beauty rut or get lax in our beauty routine.

Instead of jeans and a nice top its sweats, if we even get out of our jammies. Instead of washing and blowing out our hair we just toss it in a ponytail every day. We don’t moisturize after showers and baths and we fall out of our facial care regimen. Sometimes we may not even shave our legs for days. It takes a lot of time and effort to keep these things up and sometimes we just get tired. We spend so much of our time taking care of others we tend to let ourselves go. But then it gets difficult to get back into our beauty habits, the cure? That can be different for each of us. Here are some things to try:

  • Get a Makeover; you can go to a department store make up counter for a consultation, sometimes even a free makeover.
  • Get a new hair cut or color, even just some highlights can do wonders to give you a confidence boost
  • Get yourself a mani/pedi or give yourself one
  • Add 1 new thing to your beauty regimen each week or so until you get back to where you want to be.
  • Get a new hair style. Even just parting your hair differently can be a welcome change.
  • Try some wonderful bath treats, like bath salts or bath bombs. You can buy them or make your own and they are incredibly uplifting.

Whatever you do the cure to Debabeicitus should be something fun! What have you done to cure your Debabeicitus?

About Mistirose
Hello, I am Misti. I have been married for 21 years to the most wonderful and inspiring husband who supports me in everything I do. As a lot of my friends affectionately call me domestic, tell me I’m a nice home maker etc… I thought why not use that and create a place where I can share all I have learned in my many hobbies and experiences. I love crafting (My fav is Sewing), making foods from scratch, gardening and the list goes on…I am a spender and a saver. I believe there are some products worth spending the money on and buying store bought and there are others that we can successfully duplicate ourselves for much less. I will share my many recipes, How to’s and lessons learned here with you and I hope you will share yours with me. I truly value your experiences and opinions you have to share. I am always learning and hope to continue to do so for a long time to come. Nap was kind enough to do an in depth interview on me here
Thank you Nap for the wonderful interview. The business has since been closed and I am sharing all kinds of how to's and recipes on my blog and my cubitsI hope you will join me!
