I just made my own eye make up remover in less than 5 min. Only costs pennies to make and its all natural and all the oils are good for your skin.

I sure wouldn't have thought that would work! You are incredible. Mascara is the only make-up I wear, so this is probably worth trying!

Now, what can I do about hiding wrinkles???

(OH, I want to add that I like the new look a lot!!!)

Sounds great, I've been thinking that Olive oil works for a lot of our flaws (hopefully even wrinkles).
But I have contacts, does it interfere with them? Make them have an oil film?

I dont wear them myself but from what I am reading you shouldnt use oil cleansers with contacts. I would say try just a little bit if you try it. I mean the websites I am reading say to use soap instead lol neither of which do you want IN your eyes esp with contacts. If you try it I would be interested to know how well it works for you.

So maybe taking your contacts out before removing makeup?

Great idea--- I've used Baby Oil before, but your Olive oil mixture would probably be better for skin... Thanks! Rolling my eyes.

most definately Baby oil is mineral oil which is a petroleum derivative. They work by filling in pores to smooth the skin. This can cause clogged pores and ingrown hairs etc.. better to go with the Olives Thumbs up

Thank you! While the oils can go rancid, that can take years. you will most likely use it up before it goes bad. I agree

Misti, my daughter has a question for you...... Her thing is she has problem skin as it is and is wondering if this would clog her pores around the eyes. She gets blemishes and black heads just by thinking about getting them and she kinda wants to try this for her eye makeup but is worried about the effects on her skin.

Thank...............

These oils will not clog her skin, the petroleum products (including mineral oil) can as they have kindof a wax type base. These should absorb nicely into the skin Big Grin
