| I love them Catherine. The little dull colored one looks like our female Goldfinch. I really need to get a better lens for my camera so I can get bird photos. I tried yesterday, but the lens isn't proper for that kind of photos. |

| Good luck Lynn. I use a zoom lens but it not powerful enough so I have to give them seeds to get them narrower but these ones are flying away most of the times. C. When spring is there with some sunny days I can see plenty of lizards all around. I knew that blackbirds and others loved to search and eat worms but I never saw a lizard before swallowing worms before yesterday.![]() ![]() C. | Catherine I love lizards. I grew up with them all around. I don't have them here where I live now. I do miss them. First chance I get I will take a photo of our garden snakes. They eat slugs, worms, bugs and new baby mice. They are very good for the garden. |

| Lynn here there are plenty of lizards. They are looking at you and if a stone is in the sun you can be sure a lizard is on it. Never heard of garden snakes. Please let me know the latin name. I will look up for them and hope you will be able to make some shots of this useful auxiliary in the garden.. C. | It is still to cold for them to be out and about yet. As soon as I get a chance I will take a photo and post it here. Thamnophis sirtalis parietalis (garter snake) is the name of it. It can have some variations in color and they do not get very big. We also have Charina bottae (Northern Rubber Boa) Pituophis catenifer (Gopher Snake) We have a very large one that lives under out shed at the back of our property. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullsnake Here is a wonderful video of what snakes we have here in our area. http://www.opb.org/programs/ofg/segments/view/1379 |

| Thank you for answering and for the links Lynn. A lot of people does not like snakes and are frightened, which I understand as some of them are very dangerous but some others ones are not harmful at all. I will give you the name of the ones I know here; I know they lie heat as I have been catching some dangerous ones and knew where to find them. Great fun.. C.
