These are a mix of 'Toronto' and 'Lady Diana' greigii tulipa coming up. They are the best naturalizers I have. I put in a dozen of each and after 4 years I dug up almost 200 bulbs. They have only bloomed together once since I have had them (7 years). Usually one comes first and then the other which is fine because I like waves. Here they come :smily:
All these posts make me very happy. Thank you Dalhianut. You understood that I love to see all stages of the tulips growth and I am spoiled by these posts. Besides I never heard of the Lady Diana hybrid of Greigiii. I am going to open threads for each species hybrids and I hope you will post pictures of all yours.
Boojum thank you so much for posting the cover of the book. This book is one of the first published and I have it. May be some others are published in the US I do not know. I have to open a thread about Bibliography.
Lynn thank you for asking. Please post your pictures on the miscellaneous tulips thread.
Ladies as you know this cubit is only open to members but as an Easter egg I am going to open it to everyone for a week (till next Sunday) as I received many requests to do so.
