Candyce, how wonderful of you to share the difficulties in your life. No wonder you are such a strong person. You never gave up and took blessings from it all.
You at times have made me laugh until my sides hurt last year. Between you, Anjl and Weed you had me laughing like I hadn't laughed in a long time.
Even here in Cubits you show your giving nature and kind heart.
Thank you.

Oh, dear sweet Candyce, tears running down my face not because of all the struggles you've had although that too, but how you came out the other end so joyful and successful! You totally ROCK!

Folks, I'm so fortunate to belong to Candyce's Cubit and she's right, she is here to teach. Candyce has taught me SO MUCH! My life is so much more organized, not to mention clean, since joining Homemakers Haven. Thank you Candyce, from the bottom of my heart.

I'm basically a shy person just like you but the advent of the internet has really helped with that not to mention all the dear and wonderful friends it has brought me Thumbs up

Thank you so much Sharon for sharing this wonderful lady with the Cubit's community. She's one in a million! Lovey dubby

Okay.
Now my tears are flowing! Thank you all for your wonderful words. I am warmed and uplifted by them. And I am strengthened as well.

Sharon, you did such a wonderful job with my story - even leaving in the part mentioning how afraid I was to write it. I didn't think too many people would understand - or even care. But, you've encouraged me every step of the way. For that, I sincerely thank you.

Lynn ~
Oh my gosh! Didn't we have SO MUCH FUN 'way back then? I remember the giggles and the bursts of outright laughter!! I miss those days! We'll get 'em back - you'll see!

vic and Barb ~
It is truly ME who should be honored, having both of you as my friends ... and for the help you bring me every day to keep me on my toes! Your support and participation in Homemakers' Haven has been immeasurable and such a God send to me. (Now, go get to work in the kitchen this week!)

Nancy ~
What can I say?
I am not brave. But it gives me a bit of comfort to hear that YOU think that I'm brave. I have never thought of myself as being brave. I just think that I'm a person who is afraid, but in that fear, finds herself pushing forward - simply because I must. Does that make sense?
Thank you so much for being my friend.

What a lovely Spotlight. Candyce you are strong even if you don't think you are.

Hmmmm I probably should get back over to Homakers Haven but it's too pretty outside to think of household stuff right now.

I must add in my own compliments to both Sharon and Candyce. Thank you both for an inspiring story. It can certainly bring motivation to many, as this is an example of how it is never too late to realize a fulfilled and happy life. I will have to check the Homemakers Haven, as I have much to do to keep the house usable and organized. It is not just for women, I hope Hilarious! .

Lance, you are certainly welcome. We have a couple of gentlemen already in the group, although they don't know the other is there, so they don't post much. That's OK. Our journey is not a woman's journey. Nor is it a man's journey. It is a person's journey. So all are welcome.

And thank you, everyone, once again, for all of your kind words and especially your support. I wish you were all here with me in the neighborhood - (Sorry, Sharon, Kentucky isn't for me - LOL!)

Now, I'm off to write a message in my Cubit ...

Awwww, Candyce, it was only going to be a short trip. Just long enough for you to....ummmmmm...sort of help me get organized. Have you ever been to KY? Seen the mountains in the spring all covered in redbuds and dogwoods then wild honeysuckle and mountain laurel? Or maybe in the fall when they are a patchwork of reds and yellows and orange?

Are you sure, Candyce, just for a day or two? It won't take long, promise.
