Note from the Diva
| I hesitated to make these cookies because I thought for sure several ingredients were missing! I was pleasantly surprised. I substituted the chips in this recipe with chocolate stars for a quick (and yummy) version of peanut blossom cookies. |
List of Ingredients
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 cup milk chocolate chips (or 24 Brach's milk chocolate stars)
Granulated sugar

Preparation
| Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl, with a spoon, mix peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Add chips; mix well. Roll heaping teaspoons of dough into 1 - 1 1/2 inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Lightly wet a fork and dip in granulated sugar; press criss-cross onto each ball flattening to approximately 1/2 thickness. Bake 10-12 minutes. If substituting chocolate chips with chocolate stars; remove cookies from oven and immediately gently press a chocolate star into each cookie. Remove cookies from baking sheet to wire rack to completely cool. | Number of Servings: 2 dozen Cookbook Category Cookies & Bars
