Celts are all over the world, not just in the Scotland, Wales, or Ireland. They've been in Egypt, Scandinavia, and Germany. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to find a country where the Celtic nomadic peoples have not been a part of their heritage.

hahahaha ok - I will have to do a Kilt article then..........
Thanks for the kind words - I have to be careful to put some humour in, or my writing could be too dry (I'm so literal!)
She defineatly had no sense of humor, or if she did it was a well hidden trait that she kept under lock and key. If anyone told a joke or punned she would shake her head and say "I don't know what you find so funny in that " Which, of course made us laugh harder and her to "tsk, tsk, such silliness belongs to fools" as she walked stiffly away. She had no humor but if you were hurt there was none gentler to kiss away your tears.

awww what a wonderful memory of your grandmother!
I remember my grandmother - she was loving, kind, and gentle, and THEN........... I was 13, and invited a friend of mine to visit my grandparent's farm one summer weekend. We were "explorers" and found some cattle skulls and other such "interesting bones". We took them to the outside water pump, and when washing them got called for lunch. After lunch we'd forgotten All About Them, until.................. grandma found them, and started yelling! We scooted pretty quickly , you can Bet! I'd Never heard her raise her voice before, But She Did Then!! yikes! Never heard her raise her voice again......

We scooted right to the water pump to get them &^%)@#* bones off the well cover
btw - she never swore, but she sure used some angry words!!
She didn't have to catch us - we motored right over to get those bones out of her sight. 'funny - I don't know if she was superstitious, or hated the thought of death but she sure was Mad!
Funny... Cow skulls don't really bother me... In fact, my grown son brought one home (dry & bleached from the sun, he'd found at a ranch). It' s out on our little deck... I said it was ok there, but Not in the house or the front yard; he also has a deer skull with antlers on his bedroom wall, which he had shot while deer-hunting (that does bother me more!) I guess I'm used to seeing cow skulls around, even see some painted at art shows! What I Don't like are those mounted animal heads, with their fur still on--- and they are staring at you with those big eyes! I'm a lover of animals Alive!!
Susan, I think your article was quite interesting--- and I'm saying this Literally!
