this is the 4th loaf of bread i have made in the bread machine and it is also the best tasting and best looking of the 4 loaves.

1 egg at room temperature plus enought 80 degree water to make 1 1/4 cups

1-1/2 tbls oil

1 tbl honey

2 tsp salt

1/3 cup dry milk

3/4 cup whole wheat flour

3-3/4 cups bread flour

1-1/3 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tbl sesame seeds

2-1/4 tsp active dry yeast

select whole wheat cycle

i take all the dry ingredients, except the yeast, including the two cheeses and put them in a big bowl and gently stir them together until well blended. I feel this works better than then adding them individually.

my bread maker calls for adding the liquids first and that is what i do and then add the

dry ingredients. after i smooth out the dry ingredients i make a small indention in the dry ingredients and that is where i put the yeast.

i tried to take a picture of the bread in the machine in the rising stage but it did not come out too good but when i took it out it looked great

this bread was a lot firmer than the corn bread loaf i made earlier

this made a two pound loaf of bread.Thumb of 2012-04-21/herbie43/d0a1fe
