This sample was given to us as we shopped at our local sams Club. It ws so delicious that my wife made it as a side dish as part of a turkey dinner.

about 15 brussel sprouts, brown ends cut off and yellow outer leaves removed and cut in half
about 15 thin pieces of asparagus cut into bite sized pieces
salt and pepper to taste
1 stick of butter

In a large fry pan over medium heat melt the butter and then place the sprouts and asparagus into the pan and cook, covered, until both are tender.

P>S> We have made this recipe several time and have added both mushrooms and onions to the original recipe.

Important ingredient. We got some fresh fish on sale so I'll make it to go with that. Asparagus and brussels sprouts are about the only fresh vegies available here. What would you think of chopping a red bell pepper in . . . last minute . . for a little color?

to be truthful i liked the taste just the way it is but you can always add a small sweet onion.

I have this theory that chocolate slows down the aging process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?
