| i must have had this recipe in my collecton for years and i found it when i began to open up boxes in our new place i made this tonight and it came out great 6 links of italian sausage, sweet or hot 1 cup red wine 1 sweet onion sliced thin two heads of garlic with the tops cut off to expose the garlic cloves a handful of flat leaf parsley gently crushed. 1/2 cup virgin olive oil place the sausage in a baking dish and pour the wine over them then add all the other ingredients and mix well. place uncovered in the fridge for 24 hours. remove the sausage and disregard all the rest. place the sausage on a heated grill and cook until they are cooked through and browned. The sausage came out very juicy with a slightly sweet taste. P.S.
