| All grape products are toxic to dawgs so I have never encouraged that and while he does induge in a weed now and then, Inky pretty much prefers meat. He used to not like any vegetables or fruit but even though I make him roasts, hams, and turkey, I am (aside from fish) pretty much a vegetarian. Because of that he has developed some of my habits but let me tell 'ya, this dawg is EXPENSIVE to feed. He can't eat regular dawgfood because he is allergic to everything chicken and most dawgfood has chicken byproduct even if it's primary 'flavor' is labeled otherwise, AND since I am opposed to lamb and veal (becuz' they are babies killed), I have to cook meat for him. Now, while he will eat vegetables and fruit with me somewhat, his absolute favorite is avocado....sheesh! this guy's not cheap! Other INX favs are tomatoes ('specially yellow ones) and any kind of peppers. I grow both in my garden; silly, but mainly for him. He likes the cherry tomatoes and likes to play, 'throw them to me'...and chomps those, but he truly relishes yellow tomatoes. He has learned to take the yellow plums off the vine without hurting the plant at all....we go out in the morning to see what has ripened and he goes by the ripe one(s) and glances over to see if I okay a 'pick' and if I say 'yes' he takes it and lays down in the grass 'til it's gone.
