It starts tonight at 8:00. I won't miss Nicole Scherzinger.

So? Did you watch it? I did and, despite all the judges proclamations of how much better the show is this year, I didn't get it. No one rang my bell like the two finalists last year. Not even as much as the the old doo-wop guys. Maybe it's just me, but I hate rap no matter how well it's done - and I never actually know whether it is or not. Ugh.

I taped it, but I haven't watched it yet. Too much stuff on every channel. I'll let you know what I think after I've watched it.

I've watched two episodes now and still not turned on by any one group. Some were definitely better than others. I did love the four doo-wop guys from Boston.

Anybody see tonight's episode? I was so disappointed to see one of my favorite groups go home. On the whole, I'm much more impressed now than after the first show. Afro-Blue is A-mazing!

I still haven't watched a single one of these this season. They're all on tape, but my backlog of tapes I haven't watched is growing to enormous (and ridiculous) proportions. There's just so much on TV every night, and by the time I finish my work, it's time to sleep, not watch tapes. Tonight I'm taping on four different channels, for example (Fox, NBC, CBS, and ABC).

Yeah, I'm finding more stuff in the queue than I have time for. Last night I just deleted some. Just willy-nilly. If I delete it, it won't be there asking to be seen. And, after all, none of it is going to add to my intellect bank. Rolling my eyes.

I'm sure I'll start deleting stuff as soon as the networks start canceling shows. No sense getting interested in a TV series if the story's going to end after a couple of episodes.

Since my last post, I didn't see a single episode until the finale last night. It was really good and reminded me of the things I like about this show. First of all, there are singers in these groups that are tremendously talented, many more so than the Idol or X-Factor contestants. Second, I love the intimacy of the stage and auditorium. There's not the ridiculous distraction of lights, dancing robots or animated backgrounds.

The group that won deserved to do so; they were multi-talented and gave spot-on performances. I'd watch this show again next season and see if it grabs me sooner.

I'm finally watching these episodes, Alma, although in random order. I saw the finale first, which eliminates all of the suspense from the other shows. Pentatonix would have been my favorite from the start, however, so I'm enjoying watching the shows and knowing I don't have to worry about them getting cut.

I can't get over the judges. All of the other shows should have judges like these. They offer long, long comments, full of useful advice, and they compliment group members individually. It's a pleasure to listen to them, in contrast to the judges on AI, X Factor, and The Voice.
