Well, one of mine bit the dust! When I got them, there were two, but another one came up! Now I'm back to two! Will both kinds go dormant? I hope so, I wone have to fool with them over the winter!

They will go dormant this winter Audrey. That's the nice part. Once the weather starts to get below 40ยบ they will die down. Then you can stop watering and take the tuber out of the pot or leave it there dry. Next spring you'll want to plant in a larger pot because the tuber will grow quite a bit through the season. It takes a little heat to wake them up.

Yes, they will go to sleep and you stop watering at that point. Then in spring/summer go back to water and when they start growing good feed them with a good plant food. You might want to take them up out of the dirt and let them dry and store them in dry saw dust for the winter, some do, I don't. I leave mine alone and they do their own thing. Big Grin
