In the 2 years I have belonged to Daves I ran across photos that were stunning images as subjects for paintings.
I will post here
This is from Victorgardner.
He photographed the waterlilies under the ice in his frozen pond.
Drat cant find it.
I'll be back

Those are wonderful GE. Redchic's photos are always fabulous and you have captured their essence well.

Wow.
Glad you have that creative outlet. I hate slit wrists.
Might mangle your painting hand.

LOL Don't get blood on those lovely paintings, GE.
It's so remarkable to me how you can accomplish such beauty in so short a period of time.

Watercolors dont take as long as oils.
Oil paintings have to dry for days before you can add another layer of colors.
stormyla Feb 16, 2010 2:23 PM CSTName: Stormy Valley Forge Pa I Love MAM ~ So Happy Together
That would be difficult for me as I am so compulsive about getting things finished.

I am not a patient person. Its a life lesson for me to choose projects that need time.

Good outlet for boredom.... the winter's getting a bit long, isn't it?
Sharon Feb 17, 2010 2:46 PM CSTName: Sharon Kentucky
Well, the snow's gone. Again.
And it's almost 40, but I don't see a thing out there that's begging me to come look. Surely this will be over soon, and I know I haven't had it as bad as others, but yes, the winter's getting a bit too long.
Grumble.....
If I were painting today, it'd be all in grays.
